Better AA??

    I haven't played BF2 in about a month, I was getting bored with it. I bought Armoured Fury and gave it a go over the last few days. I really like the new maps. However I have come across an issue with the AA. I was on Road Rage and hopped into a Tungsta (MEC AA). Anyway I shot down 10 planes and helicopters in a short space of time. Has the AA been improved again??
    Was this from 1.3 or something particular to Armoured Fury?? Or is it just that the planes are slower and the choppers weaker?

    I thought I was well on my way to my expert AA badge until I was kicked for "Suspect AA range" !!! I guess an admin was in one of those planes I kept shooting down :rolleyes:

    Well in AF yes, the planes are slower and the choppers a little weaker but AA is a skill in itself :)

    The did improve the AA i think it was with the patch that introduced the UAV craft but I cant rember witch patch that was. I also hear they are making the air craft faster in AF but im not sure.

    What server were ya kicked off as a matter of intrest? Wasent ours was it, just we jhad a kick happy admin there for a while but we sorted him out now, no more kicks for him.

    No hacks installed...at least not that I know of, I wouldn't even know where to look.

    Spooky, no it wasn't your server, never had any problems on yours in fact. It was a German/Swiss one.

    Yeah sorry about that we use it as a match server from time time, and for training . We are trying to get a proper unranked match server sorted so we can leave this one open all the time. Also last night we changed it back to City maps cause the 1.3 crash that happens was happening a lot on out AF server. When the new patch comes out we may change it back.
