I often wondered why boards deletes everything in the quick reply box if you change page, then come back to it. Any other forum I've been on keeps it.

Ehhhhh, there's a get it off your chest thread around here for this kind of thing. Do a search for it.

Ctrl + Z is your friend in most cases. I dunno if it would have worked for you here.

That's a real smart thing to say. This ain't the Cuckoo's nest Asok.

Why are people getting worked up over Asok's joke?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 925 ✭✭✭David19

Some people in this thread need to be punched in the ovaries.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,322 ✭✭✭Repli

Because it's disgusting to say that about a child. If someone said something like "I hope she gets cancer and dies" about your niece (for pressing a button on your laptop) you wouldn't take it too kindly either.

I think the negative reaction of some here to the "Girls age 14/15: how old is old enough " thread, as well as the cries of "racism! racism!" if anyone posts either a joke or a negative experience with a traveller, foreigner or gay person shows that a great many on boards have absoloutely no sense of humour.

Yup, Ctrl + Z works, just tried it there.

    Better luck next time Derek.

Hey, I can take a joke as well as the next person, but people have a right to tell one another when they think something is out of bounds. There is nothing PC about it.
