it lets the music on your ipod play over the radio. some are not legal so ive heard because if someone is tuned o to the same radio station as you it interferes with it. i have one and it is kinda cool , its a i-trip...

all these are illegal in ireland.

as it's basically a pirate radio station.

they are in the process of being legalised here

AFAIK is it illegal,as you will be broadcasting without a license.

Got one a few years ago and my ipod scanned through the frequencies but my radio picked up nothing,it was probably just a lemon though.

they are pretty good, iTrip would be a more common brand. technically still illegal here though altho ud be doin well if ur neighbours cud pick up your kylie songs while u bop away on ur ipod in ur bedroom!

OMG, did i just say 'kylie'? Even worse, i said 'bop'...

there's a power boosting modification knocking around on the net. i use it often with a Bose Wave Radio and it can pick it up across the kitchen. my Yamaha tuner can get it in the next room.

They are illegal due to some bad wording of the legislation noone is going to be going to jail for these or anything

basically the law says that broadcasting of radiowaves without a broadcasting licence is illegal so these fall into that category just crappy irish law again thats all

    just buy one
