When a thread is started entitled "Important question", it is usually neither.

I half agree. There was a question.

Now when a thread is started, named "Important" and surrounded in stars, dashes, spaces, or other gimmicks to make it stand out...

Or titleing the thread "Sale in Arnotts -- when does it start?"

So that people like me, who don't know or give a sh*t, won't come in and post useless replies :)

    Were you caught?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I don't think in all my years I've ever actually bought anything in Arnotts...

Oh wait... I got a hair cut there once... does that count?

My head hair of course... it was a most invigilating experience.

I think he means "which particular individual hair on your head did you get cut?", a question perhaps raised by the use of the words "hair cut" rather than "haircut". Tho I'm sure I could just as easily be reading far to much between the lines.

I don't think it does as you paid for a service, rather than bought something. :D
