I would like a few recommendations as to what rc monster truck to buy for my girlfriend. I don't need radio gear, just the truck itself. Was thinking of a Cen funfactor MT2. Budget of 200-250 yoyo's

What's else should I be looking at?

I have an FG Monster, my bro has a Savage and a mate has a Genesis

    LOL @ Vectra......unfortunate typo!!!!!

@ plug, yeah the tower st-15 looks good, I just like the look of the Cen MT2. Its essentially a fun factor underneath, so no hassle with parts and they are fairly durable anyway.
Should be able to get one less radio gear for around 220euro.

Ya spotted that easily enough:rolleyes: :D
If your going for the funfactor get some spare driveshafts as there not really reliable. Tbh don't pay over E220 as thats too much to pay already;)

Is 220 to much for a new one?

Without radio gear its not the best price but good enough considering its Ireland. Funfactors in America cost about E220 RTR.

My budy might just be selling a "lightly used" Pirate 10 MT.
    Like this one I think.;)

Do you know of any sites to get one less radio for a good price?

Did a bit of calculations for the tower hobbies truck.
    Truck $135
    discount -$20
    shipping $50
    Sub total $165
    Dollers to Euros E130
    Tax E33
    Price all together E166
You probly don't want that truck but look at the savings, about E50:eek:

That IS a good price for the ST-15..... How does it rate? Are replacements easily available? And how do I get the 20 dollar discount?

    Edit...
just checked, the tower truck comes unpainted and without any ball bearings. It just doesn't look as good as the Cen?

Well I just found out that she doesn't want an RC now. She says she would be bored after a few mins and wouldn't have the interest to maintain one.
So........ thanks to all that replied!!!
