Or failing that, the whole aviation and going into space thing.
Though I think most of these historical landmarks are culminations of a million tiny achievements before it... so, meh... the figrolls thing doesn't sound so bad.

I don't really think Fire can be classed as a human achievement... I'd more say the wheel, electricity, microchip etc.

But what about achievements by one single person?

Electricity can be harnessed for an incredible multitide of uses. Fire was simply recreated, but I see where you are coming from

I think managing to evolve our brains enough to be able to claim that we own the planet, and can do anything we want to it and all of its residents. Although that makes me sound like a hippy.

In the context of the chap above, who I honestly hope was joking, probably the bible. It's a book, yet it makes people give up their lives, and take other people's, all based on nothing but the book.

In this weather I think greatest achievement is the Starbucks Frappacino Mocha with an extra shot of expresso. The internet isnt bad either.
