Wooden covers

I'm trying to make my own photo album and I would like to put wooden covers on it. Does anyone know where I could buy wood that would be suitable for this? I would also like to make my own paper for the album and to bind it together myself. Are there any good sites out there that would have information about this?

I know that createandcraft.tv were selling wooden scrapbook covers.
