Ah yes, the ephermal effect of using a bowl instead of a plate. More suited to humanites though I think.

grolsch is lovely. Happiest time in my drinking career was walking into a supermarket in holland and seeing row after row of different flavours of grolsch, and filling up a couple of trolleys.

I have a grolsch towel, it dries well.

I like bowls keeps the food warm longer. In fact i eat alot of food out of the pots ive cooked it in.Not lazyness i just hate by the time you finish cooking to the time you put it on a plate, get a drink, condiments,tv or newspaper etc its lukewarm.I guess i like my food piping hot.

I prefer the oul bowl me. I hate chasing things round the plate where as with a bowl I ca trap them....mwhahahahaha

no way brother. I like the rice on a plate, and the curry on top. not seperate, but not mixed together. My brother puts it all on the plate, then mixes it around and everything! Not cool.

    What an amazing story.

It reminds me of that time I was eating a handful of dry cereal and went to take a mouthful of milk....you'll never guess what hit me next.

Why would you even want to take the curry and chips out of the little aluminium tray that they come in?

    Saves on the washing up.

Always put my curry in a bowl.. Have these big Pasta bowls we use for that.
Makes it less likely you will slop too!!

normally i would scoff at such nonsense, BUT chili tastes nicer in a bowl..so ..er..why not

In regards to the curry and chips, I can't see a bowl making much of a difference than just having it on a plate.

Beer - I just don't like it and have never tasted one that's actually nice. It all tastes pretty crap to me. I know that's strange, but I just can't understand the way people harp! on about how lovely beer/lager is?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,383 ✭✭✭emeraldstar

umm, so basically you posted to say your dinner tasted better from a bowl than off a plate??????

Blasphemy! Never get the stuff in the tray altogether, the sauce dries out!! Besides it was chicken curry not post drinking session long tray 3 in 1 special!!
