What's happening in Ireland this summer?

Hi Folks,
Instead of a foreign holiday this year, a few of us are going to pack a few tents, plenty of beer, some t-shirts and head down to the west coast of our own great Isle.

Thing is - we're not sure when to go! When's that Cork Jazz festival on?
Is there anything else that we can organise our trip around?
Are any of you folks doing the same thing?

We're going to do the Galway/Dingle/Kinsale/Cork thingy. Any other suggestions?

Well... there's the field. Although it's not really a field it's just got slightly less rocks in it than the other parts of the Island.

Galway races is a must if you ask me.Wednesday and Thursday are the busiest and can be a bit expensive for entrance but every other evening is OK priced.Even if your not bothered going racing (i highly recommed you do go though) the atmosphere around the town is incredible.Its an incredible week in Galway.Here is an example
