1.3 prob

ok just bought bf2 and installed it then installed the full 500mb 1.3 update but when i log into bf2 it says that my version is like 1.1 somthing i have tryed this twice and same thing any ideas.

It's normal.

Just because you patched with patch 1.3 doesn't mean that the game version should be 1.3

After the last patch the game version should be 1.1.2878-710.0

it is a little strange though tbh, most patched in other games change that game version number inacording with youre patch so you know witch version of the game you have installed. Is there any way to check what patch yer on in BF2?

Personally I don't think it's very strange from a computer software point of view but I don't know how it works on the games industry.

The only way of knowing is checking the game version from in game and comparing it to a list of version numbers which I can make if inerested.

For example:

1.0.2442.0 = BF2 with no patch installed
1.1.2551.0 = BF2 with patch 1.03

but when i log on it says do you want to update to 1.3 ??
