    Hey all,

Im going to be going on a trip around Ireland this year and im trying to get my hands on an old typewriter, (my writing is appauling). I've been looking in argos, and the €150 price tag wasnt where I wanted to go. Anyone know if there is anywhere still selling old typewriters or have any ideas where I can get one second hand?. Im leaving my laptop at home, because I know for a fact it'll get destroyed!. Any ideas would be great,

    Thanks,

    ~ Idgeitman

You could get a Palm Vx for about €20 or less. A lot handier?

    Thanks for all the help!

Yeah a typewriter will be a bit of a pain to lug around, but it's just gonna be left in hotel rooms for the most of the time when Im not on a bus. Its one thing that seemed to be the most beer proof thats why Im choosing it. Any PDA's or digital equipment i'd no doubt break lol.

    Thanks again

Saw one just now - a Litton Imperial for €20 in the Aware Charity Shop in Phibsborough. It's near MacDonald's, opposite Tesco. Was told it won't last long, so hurry.

If you had been online, I'd have PM'ed you and could have snapped it up, but no such luck for you!
