The never show how examine a finger print. Your just talkin out ur ass now.

I'm talking out of my ass? What are you doing!!? How many times have they shown how to get a finger print off something? Too many bloody times! It happens all the time. And I never said they should be swat teams,I said I liek the cop part paired with the forenics part. Seems to me the only one talking out of their ass here is you.

Any chance we could get everyone involved with all these CSI shows to have a mass duel where the winner gets his head chopped off?

I just wanna stop the hurting :P

Grissom is the best - the whole series is great and well acted! CSI Miami isn´t that bad either just hasn´t got the grace of the Las vegas one

Kind of annoying the way they all fill the same formula:

Cool, intelligent leader with cheesy one-liners (for miami have hands on hips while delivering)
    Sexy, smart, sassy, female.
Good looking guy with same qualities as above.
    Ethnic bit player. Also smart.
Older, intelligent woman with milf qualities.

Still one of the best things on telly though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,641 ✭✭✭✭Elmo

They seem to have more complex investigations. Unlike like the other two.
H is annoying with his cheeeeesssssssy one liners which has been caught the other members of the CSI team in Miami.
The New York one is depressing for some reason.
Miami is way too bright. Las Vegas looks cool why would you want to see it during the day?

    these are ****ing funny IMO
Horatio Caine: Alright, be on the lookout for an Eastern European male with bad teeth who may have access to an ape.

    [examining a severed arm]
Alexx Woods: No hair at the underarm, but pronounced hair on the knuckles.
Horatio Caine: So, what are you saying?
Alexx Woods: What I'm saying is I'm not an anthropologist. It could be a large woman or a small man.

Horatio Caine: You know what they say "You lie down with the Devil, you wake up in Hell".

Horatio Caine: We are being detoured into the land of make-believe.

[Noticing a big black car in front of a witness' house]
Horatio Caine: Mm-hmm. Town car, tinted windows, take a guess.
    Detective John Hagen: Fan-belt inspectors?
Horatio Caine: Nope. U.S. Marshals witness protection baby-sitters.

    [about a suspect]
Horatio Caine: He is a liar. I just don't know what the lie is yet.

    Suspect: I swear. I didn't touch her.
Calleigh Duquesne: You don't have to touch somebody to shoot 'em.

    [death by carbon monoxide]
    Man: What killed that guy?
    Tim Speedle: He had gas.

    [stand-off with a suspect]
Calleigh Duquesne: There are two ways this goes down, and either way, you're dropping the gun.

Horatio Caine: The only thing that matters is the evidence.

Horatio Caine: When you have everything, sometimes it feels like nothing.

[looking for evidence in a house]
Tim Speedle: Why's it always gotta be in the toilet?

Horatio Caine: The problem with manipulation is that people can turn on you.

    [about Horatio]
Detective John Hagen: All I'm saying is, that's one hell of a lonely road he's walking.
Calleigh Duquesne: I know. That's why I'm walking it with him.

    Oh the slimyness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,641 ✭✭✭✭Elmo

    And More

    [to a DA]
Calleigh Duquesne: I didn't realize evidence took sides.

Horatio Caine: Tomorrow's what you make of it.

    [to Eric]
Horatio Caine: In the future, if you're gonna watch somebody's back, let me know about it so I can watch yours.

    [describing a victim]
Horatio Caine: Jeans, T-shirt... K-Mart socks.
    Det. Frank Tripp: Big spender.

    [arresting a criminal]
Horatio Caine: Justice is not yours to dispense, and now you're going to pay for it.

[defending a woman from a suspect]
Horatio Caine: The next time you want to take a swing at someone, start with me.

[about Raymond Caine, H's little brother]
Horatio Caine: The rumour of a dirty cop is far juicier than its confirmation.
Robert Keaton: You just called your own brother a dirty cop.
Horatio Caine: Maybe he was, but he didn't deserve to die.
Robert Keaton: We all have to die some time.
Horatio Caine: Some sooner than others.

    [to Horatio]
Susie Barnam: Your little brother sure knew how to mess things up, didn't he?

    [to a bad-tempered ME]
Alexx Woods: I suggest you worry less about alimony and more about the victim. But, hey, that's just me.

[to a suspect who doesn't have to pay a medical bill]
Horatio Caine: Whatever that bill says, you will still have to pay.

[about a doctor's ugly Persian rug]
Tim Speedle: Just because you have a medical degree doesn't mean you have taste.

Horatio Caine: Why didn't you tell us this earlier?
Suspect: I didn't think it'd look too good.
Horatio Caine: Well, it doesn't look too good right now.

    [finding incriminating evidence]
Alexx Woods: Horatio's going to LOVE this.

Horatio Caine: Bag it, tag it and let's see what else is there!

    [Pedro is a suspect]
    Horatio Caine: Gentlemen, may I?
    Lawyer: Be kind, Horatio.
Horatio Caine: As always. All right, now, Pedro, the gun we found in your room has tied you to two murders.
Lawyer: But possession doesn't make my client the killer.
Horatio Caine: We also have your skin cells on the tourniquet you used.
    Lawyer: ALLEGEDLY used.
    Horatio Caine: Allegedly used.
    [turns to the Lawyer]
Horatio Caine: Now, are you going to rebut everything I'm saying?
    Lawyer: Yes.
    Horatio Caine: Excellent.

Suspect: I swear on my mother, all right?
Tim Speedle: I'm glad I'm not her.

Alexx Woods: Unreasonable acts are all I see.
    Horatio Caine: Amen to that.

Horatio Caine: You're saying she married for love?
Calleigh Duquesne: I know. Wonders never cease.

Tim Speedle: She looked him right in the eyes when he was killing her.
Horatio Caine: And he looked back.

    [to Horatio]
Det. Frank Tripp: Come on, don't you guys have some gizmo to track this thing? That blue light with the buzzers and bells or that mass-spectro-detecto-whatever-you-call-it thingy?

    [to Eric]
Horatio Caine: If we want to be effective on this job we have to survive, too.

Calleigh Duquesne: [Quickly walking through the break room] Hi guys, bye guys.
Eric Delko: [Stopping her] Hey, Calleigh, I heard you busted the stereo man.
Calleigh Duquesne: Hey, I heard you found out who the car crash victim really is.
Tim Speedle: Yup, he was a bad guy.
Calleigh Duquesne: You know, maybe not all bad.
Tim Speedle: I think the mob would disagree about 1.5 million times.
Calleigh Duquesne: Yeah, but you know, I was thinking. If he hadn't have stolen from the mob, then he never would have become a beach bum in Florida and then he never would have got picked up by the hurricane. Then if he hadn't got picked up by the hurricane he would have never hit Burton's car, and if it wasn't for hitting Burton's car, Burton would have gotten away with murder.
Eric Delko: [Smiling] Leave it to you, Calleigh, to find something good to come out of a hurricane.
Calleigh Duquesne: [Smiling] They do alleviate global warming.
    [She leaves]
Tim Speedle: [to Eric] She's way too cheerful.

[victim is lying dead on the floor, with a knife in his head]
Ryan Wolfe: Knife missing from this block could be our murder weapon.
Alexx Woods: [sarcastically] Nice work, Ryan. Think you may have cracked the case.
Ryan Wolfe: Thanks. I have a keen grasp of the obvious.

    Calleigh Duquesne: That smells good.
Eric Delko: What, cafe Cubano? Put some hair on your chest.
Calleigh Duquesne: Don't you just say the sweetest things.

Calleigh Duquesne: [walks into gun vault, smiles and sighs] I love my job.

Eric Delko: What's your plan "B"?
    Calleigh Duquesne: Gun Vault.
[enters gun vault, smiles, and sighs]
Calleigh Duquesne: Be still my heart.

    [during an autopsy]
Calleigh Duquesne: What is that? Some kind of insect?
    Alexx Woods: It's an ant.
    [to the corpse]
Alexx Woods: Girl, you need an exterminator.

Eric Delko: Sorry I'm late. I was busy.
Tim Speedle: Busy with the left hand?
    Eric Delko: [smirking] Very funny.

Sorry one more and it's a classic :D
Horatio: Alexx, was she bleeding before the attack?
Alexx: Let's see. (she pulls back the dead woman's clothing) She was bleeding all right. Entrance wound, shot at close range. The shark must have finished what someone else started.
Horatio: So we have a different kind of shark. (he pauses, stands up, and places on his sunglasses) The human kind.

Horatio makes me want to throw my shoe at the telly. As someone said, Caruso is either a genius or an idiot. I'm going for idiot. He delivers every line the exact same way. C'mon, thats not acting. I realise he has so-bad-its-good entertainment value, but he just gets on my nerves.

Las Vegas is probably the best followed by NY, but the main problem with the franchise as a whole is you just don't give a toss about the characters. Its mildly diverting but not essential viewing.

    I'd disagree with that.

But I'd agree with that,it is not essential viewing,as far as the Jerry Bruckheimer produced CBS shows,I think Without a Trace and Cold Case are better.

They're about €30 for half a season or something like that, I'm not sure I've never bought any.

Vegas is the best, Miami is pretty meh, particularly Horatio The Shades of Justice Cane. Haven't seen a great deal of New York to be honest. I haven't watched any of them a great deal lately, been busy and I'm not sure when RTE even shows them nowadays.

CSI:NY is on RTE TWO on Monday nights after the News.

Hoiratio is a twat , he does take off his glasses , EVERY time he saya a line in the bloody program , That coroner who speaks to the body's gets on my nerves ..

Oh and CSI agents are NOT supposed to be involved in arresting suspects ....This crack in Miami where they are out chasing the criminals is crap , thay are supposed to be in tha backround investigating ...Hence tha title ..

    Vegas Forever ..........
Horatio is a way better lead than Grissom, i like grissom but why does there always have to be a rare bug at every scene that leads him to decipher the mystery, plus he's terrible with his team, and this often leads to confilcts. horatio may be very overbearing but he looks after his team

vegas has a better ensemble cast willows is much more hands on than grissom and they have a very clear outline of chain of command however grissom has never had the leadership to expolain this to sara who sulks about being the junior member. as to why horatio is always chasing criminals, anyone who watches miami will know that they were proper copppers who transfered accross, horatio was a bomb squad member, Eric was in the diving corps,Wolfe was a normal copper, note these labs are also in different states, different states have different laws and different policing structures, you can guarantee they chose these two new states based on their differences to vegas.
one thing i can't stand is when people want everything the same, variety is what makes things life interesting.

if you're buying, deepdiscountdvd.com $72 yes dollars for full season 1 &2 vegas plus about $50 for the miami and new york full seasons. it cost me €46 per season to get the play.com halved seasons of 3 &4 vegas.
have to admit something cheecky, got CSI the complete fifth season from amazon.com for $46, don't know why there are two fifth seasons for sale, identical, one is $75 one was $46 now gone up to $65, received it two weeks ago. no idea why it was so cheap.

coudnt agree more! Horatio (where did he get that name??)
if you watched CSI:las vegas season 2 they go down to miami and introduce us to the new team, caine tells willows that he was named after the american author Horatio Alger, a victim in season one later jokes that he was named after Horatio in Hamlet, (they claim he's a primitive Crime Scene Investigator )
Horatio was also the name of one of the greatest fictional naval commanders of all time and has a tradition of swashbuckle attached to the name Horatio Hornblower, which was based on Horation Nelson one of the great Real Naval commanders of history, granted it may appear odd to you but what about a guy named Gil, isn't that something a fish uses to breathe:D . names are just names, personally i think it's distinguished and suits him, the cheesiness just makes it for me, plus i love the day time scenes much easier on the eyes.

it is the states, RTE have made a bags of the schedule, a few weeks ago they showed the crossover episode where mack from NY comes to miaimi, and then they need to go back to new york at the end of the episode, it was a two parter and rte did nothing to facilitate this, they ploughed on with the planned miami episode for next week, whcih made no mention of Part2 as it was now a CSI:NY episode, no word about the crossover episodes finish, i watched CSI:NY to see if they showed it in that slot ( as the second part was technically CSI:NY) but no, they trundled along in their preset pattern for the season, obvioulsy out if synch with miami ,it's that kind of messing that angers me at RTE, i'm gratefyl they show it at all, but what about the old adage of "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right".
they sold it as a big two parter, advertised it for days on rte2 then played two miami episodes that had nothing to do with each other and left us dangling for part 2

Have you noticed too that RTE are flying through season four. not that i'm complaining but have shown nearly 10 eppys two months.
