Just wondering how these CPUs compare. I have an athlon 64 3200 socket 754 in my PC. I'm upgrading another PC to use for music production, the above CPU works fine for what I do so how do the CPUs below compare to it? Sempron 3400 or a Athlon 64 3000 socket 939

i would say stick to what you have, the sempron would be far worse and I dont know if there would be any gain in the 3000, if there is it would be minimul

Keep the 3200+, as the Sempr0n is much worse and the 3000+ S939 requires a new motherboard
