    I am trying to do up a newsletter for a Football club(plain enough/not too fancy) and am wondering what is the best/easiest prog to use for this task ,bearing in mind i have limited experience in this.

    If you just want something simple, you might get away with Microsoft Publisher, if you are lucky it may be installed on your machine as part of office/came with your machine.

    If not, Microsoft Word can be used for that kind of thing, depending on your version, just do a search for newsletter in your help hopefully will throw up whether you have wizards for it or templates.

    openoffice would definately have the capability to throw something together.

    Other than that, you are getting into the bigger apps, like Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, Quark XPress.

    Free DTP. InDesign or Quark are fantastic but the learning curve and price tag may put it out of your reach.
