Special forces unlocks

Ok so I know that you get a few extra unlocks with special forces but what are the exact requirements to get them?
I mean to do have to play a certain number of maps to get them or just install it? And how long after installation/playing required maps do you get them?

I installed my brother's copy of SF but it didn't seem to work as it thinks I have a modded version of the game and just kept asking me to revert to the current version before I could play a map.

Just play SFt once online on your brothers system asnd that should enable the 2nd tier of unlocks.

You get youre unlocks at the same time as youre normal unlocks. So if ya rank up in either game ya get 2 unlocks. Or if ya install it afeter ya have got say 3 unlocks already you get another 3. Basically give EA more money and they give you more guns, its how they work.

It needs updating to the latest patch?

Nah tried that, didn't work. Anyway doesn't matter it's resolved now.
