    Hi,

I'm just wondering what the best solution for Video over IP would be?

I'm currently living in Japan, the other half in Germany. I've got a 20mb/s cable connection, and she's got, I think, about 1mb/s dsl. We've both got bog-standard webcams, and we're wondering what's the best way to do video calls? For me, the emphasis is on smoothness rather than quality of image. We've tried MSN Messenger(shudder), which is quite jumpy, but has a pretty decent picture. I know Skype has video chat, but I couldn't see an option to start a video call.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,
    nakey
