    Why do people always do a stupid dance when they are walking by buskers like they are the only ones who have ever done it before and they are so funny?

    Maybe they were crap buskers?

    I wouldn't give a funny look unless the buskers were trying to be funny, or terribly bad!

    Maybe because it's very surreal to see someone expressing emotions (the busker, through his music) in a place where emotions are generally not expressed (public).....so they 'give a little back', as it were.

    Sometimes I do a little jig in front of buskers, mostly to anoy my GF.

    My Question to you... what difference does it make that the person doing the stupid little dance is not the first person to have thought of it ?
