Laptop graphics cards and HyperMemory

    I've seen some of the newer laptops say that they use "hypermemory" when describing the graphics cards.
    Am I right in saying that
    Hypermemory = graphics card memory + some of the system memory (RAM)?

    What is this worth in reality?

    How would you rate these for example:
    1. 128MB graphics card
    2. 64MB graphics card +64MB hypermemory
    3. 128MB shared memory (lower end intel machines)

    I'd rate them as above, I'm just wondering is it actually any good or a bit of a con?

    1. 128MB graphics card.
    2. 64MB graphics card +64MB hypermemory.

    Option two would never be as fast as option one due to the transfer delay between system memory and graphics card memory. Its a good idea but if you have the cash stick with option one.

    128MB shared memory (lower end intel machines).
    Steer clear of this!
