Bf2, Bf2:sf & Bf2:ef

So I play BF2 the odd time at gaming cafés, Im thinking of buying BF2, BF2:SF & BF2:EF when I build a gaming machine (been on a PII for the last 8 years).

I gets confused with the two add ons for BF. If I dont buy the add ons what do I miss out on?

I am I correct in saying that;

a) I obviously miss out on the maps in the new versions if I don't buy the add ons.

b) If I install the addons, can I use the weapons I get with them on original BF2 servers

c) Are there specific servers for BF2, SF & EF or can maps from each be on the same map rotation on a specific server.

d) If maps are on the same rotation and a map that I dont have comes up am I simply kicked.

Sort of, some unlocks but others are team specific like the EU forces.

BF2 and EF work together, SF needs to ran seperatley
