Fancy learning how to Scrapbook? Workshops Announced We are offering you a 5 or 6 week evening course. The courses will be held on Wednesday nights between 7.30 and 9.30pm at the Oysterhaven Center, Co Cork. The first workshop is planned for the 8 March. We also have a few 'crops' coming up too!

Scrapbooking has changed from the old fashioned use of sugar paper books & newspaper clippings into an artistic way to deal with family memories in an acid & lignin free way to that photos do not yellow or turn brittle with age.

There is a post on scrapbooks with some samples of both Beckies & my scrapping pages.

I had a look at the bumbleberry website, it's way more complicated than I realised.
I take it that scrapbooking it sticking pictures on carefully chosen pages and meticulously decorating the page with ribbons and stuff.

Makes my scrapbook I got in pound city with old bus tickets stuck into it look kinda shabby!

Modern scrapping has many differnt forms some is highly artistic where as other pages are very simple the main thing to worry about is that the papers, card & glues are acid free.

I hope it wasn't my site that was complicated!!!:D

When I first saw it I thought the same thing but once I gave it ago I realised that it really wasn't! Sometimes I still have mental block and throw everything on the table .... this is great at times as something has landed in the perfect spot!!:eek:

The main thing to remember that there is no right way to scrapbook. Everybody has a different style.

Give it ago .... you might get hooked!!
