Boards.ie ranked server donations?

Would hardly expect TIG to pay for the server on their own now would we?

Is there somewhere we can make donations too? Fairies local barman? Lucutus hairdresser? D22ontours child maintence? Berns english speaking courses?

TBH we havent set this up in order for people to pay for it. If peeps want to donate then thats fine, but its not expected.

In the long run I'd like to see a packed server every night with some sensible irish admins running things and a yearly boards.ie battlefield lan so that all the players can meet up etc.

TheIrishGuard was born out of boards.ie so its only fitting that we give something back. Also I'm working on the idea of a boards.ie battlefield 2 ladder when the current inf competition is over.

Servers aint cheap neither is beer. Noone has to donate but there should be a way too.

The donatey thing on the tig site is the method we use for stuff like hosting, servers etc, if we need a server or branded 'tig face' mugs, everytone lumps funds into that and we go off and get 'em.

If you guys like the server, throw us some beer money and we'll buy ourselves a round of pints on the first night of TiGLAN 3 @ the end of the month.
