I may end up being wrong but tonights games seem to be lacking in the 'info' dept

If there going to be a Team #10 ?

If so who's on it? I can only see 2 people, The_Bullman and Evd-Burner, as to join the league since last week which isn't really enough to form a new team.

People aren't going to turn up IMHO if they don't know where and when and I still don't know who I'm playing with so can't do anything tactic-wise.....

Join IRC ppl just appear out of nowhere, even ppl banned from boards.ie

Aye .. tig servers will be able to provide live match details on #tig.server on quakenet. I'd advise everyone who is playing or wants to play to join #battlefield.ie and #tig.server this evening.

If people continue to expect to be hand held this tounament will fold. All you have to do it sort out IRC and join #battlefield.ie and sort out the matches.

It only takes a few mins to get a match sorted if you can get your players ready.

I've been made captain of a team with no players. If players aren't told a couple of days in advance what time they'll have to play at they yes, it'll probably fold.
People shouldn't be forced to look for info on irc when all it would take is one post in this forum.

Isnt there a song like this, "The Pub with no Beer". Theres a schedule already made out. Therefore each team knows who they are playing and what map etc. If this is team 10 you talk about then maybe we should revert back to not having a team 10. Your call if its hard to organise.

Anyone who finds it too much work to install and setup mIRC then you can use this web based Java Applet to connect to the relevent boards.ie IRC channels on Quakenet.

I was in almost that state last week, you'll pick up players just fine.

Fairy, all I know is that I was captain of a team and due to more people signing up since we now have enough players for a 10th team. My problem is that I don't know who these people are. All I need is their nicks and I could PM them and have them play.

I can't organise it because team €10 seems to be just me at the moment

The 1st-ib server is back up and running.
will be avalible for use each week,

Even if we ant one of the teams playing on it, lol
I will be around each week to admin the server,

just think of when we go to play NRG, 2 servers 2 teams = 1 emty server....
