Chopping up an MP3

    Just wondering if anyone knows decent open source software that will let me split MP3 files into smaller files, for example, a long interview with a band and an accustic song in the middle. I want to chop out the song and leave the talking.

    Cool Edit does it but I dont have the full version.

    Have you tried Audacity?
