Looking for stuff like an over stitch wheel, awl, some beeswax etc. Anywhere in town where I can pick up this stuff cheap?

maybe try contacting a shop that retails a lot in fabric/ knitting stuff, maybe somewhere like hickeys might be able to get you a contact for the wheel. as for the beeswax contact evans to see if they stock the stuff (they've a wide range of stock), or else try one of the online shops on the sticky above like cork supplies.
