, your parable is more wearisome than humourous now. Would J.R.R. Tolkien's own witness and that of his friends not prove his story was not meant to be taken as real? But the Bible, which you wish to reduce to the same level, was written by eye-witnesses, many of whom who laid down their lives rather than deny what God had revealed to them. Maybe you would face prison and death for the truth of your Silmarillion?
