    the result of a typo and an embassing mistake for me.

    you see they sent me a contract for 3 months. i needed six months for my course requirement, so i emailed them back asking if it was okay if i stayed for six months.

    they said kein problem.......
    so i said grand, signed the contract and returned it.

    the problem is in the ......

    i read the kein problem and stopped translating. they actually wrote 'das is EIN problem' and went on to say they could only hire me for three months.


    so the moral of the story is, translate everthing!


    meanwhile i have to fly back to ireland and try to get work placement for six months in order to pass third year.

    anyone know of anyone looking for a third year student of computer science?

    IBM would have you for tech support, but if they thought you'd leave after 6months they wouldn't bother with you.
    (but I left after 6 months smile.gif)
    Just tell them you want it as a career, but only if you're desperate!
