DeVore list is something like this.
1 Warning. Insult mongering, etc.
2 Temp ban. Serious insults. Persistent off-topic, etc.
3 Ban / delete post. Spam. Persistent serious abuse. Pr0n.
4 Nuke (DeVore talking to your parents / principal / boss having previously phoned you at 2am, having you expelled / fired). Serious abuse of site, attempting to hack servers, libel, etc.
5 You don't wanna go there.
