    Todays word is corpophilia

BTW the health consequenses of a diet which consists of 25% bacteria (by dry weight) probably including pathogens and will almost certainly contain the eggs and other life cycle stages of any parasites and from which most of the nutrients have been removed are, sub-optimal.

Oh and I'm defering to those with greater culinary experiance, by informing you that they report , "it tastes like ...."

There are marine organisms that survive mainly by crapping, waiting for bacteria to grow on it, and then eating it again.

Yes, but marine organisms are closer than plants to evoking images of GIANT MONSTER SQUIDS, so my post is more worthy!

Really? You find allowing plants to extract what nutrients may be found in faeces more sickening than taking a crap, waiting for it to get furry, and then eating it again?
