If its based on the D3 engine, expect it to require similar specs, debatable how much gfx tweaking you can do to make it run smoother(gui config only?)

You'll see some things that Doom 3 didn't indicate its engine was capable of, and vehicle controls are intuitive
Graphics 9.0
Impressive use of the Doom 3 engine, and the character models don't have as much of that plastic look.Sound 8.4
Hollywood actors lend some key voice talent, and there's plenty of ambient sound. Music is tasteful and well-placed.
Gameplay 8.0
Combat is relatively simple, and multiplayer is disappointingly limited.
Lasting Appeal 7.5
Short singleplayer, and not enough MP flavor to truly set it apart.
OVERALL 8.2 (out of 10 / not an average)

played it and it is good,single player Im actually impressed with!
MP is exactly the same as Q3 just with much better gfx so all round happy with it

I went hunting for it today with the knowledge that the shops all have it in stock.

I have the money, they have the game, I don't see why there's a problem, tbh.

If the shop sells the game before the official release date it is gonna get fined. Happened today with Pro Evo 5 and Football Manager. Virgin(Birmingham) started selling it a day early so all the other shops sold it too because apparently only the first shop to not abide by the release date will get fined. Had a mad rush trying to sort out the displays in the shop where I work when we heard. There had been people from various shops spying on each other all day to try figure out when they were going to start selling. Was really funny.

I boutght Quake 4 on Tuesday is the us and I have to say that I like the new game I have played it fro about 4 hours,

Graphics are amazing and the game play is good the style is like doom 3
