NTL FTP site question

I've started using the webspace that NTL gave me with my home broadband connection. I'm using smartftp to upload stuff , but I want to find out how to let others download stuff from my space without an account and password. Also what url would they use to to it as the one i was given only seems to be the upload site.

I think whatever stuff you have uploaded will be available to all at:

http://homepage.ntlworld.ie/username

the username bit at the end is whatever your primary username it. I've not tried this in a long long time but pretty sure that's it.

create a simple web page and edit it with the links to that actual files uploaded. Remember it is not an ftp site you get from ntl - it is web space. As such you get an ftp facility to control the upload but the data is available via normal http conventions
