there's a certain something to this
naked fear that jerks your spine
    some substance and release
for heavy hands and little minds

    it's like pornography
but silent, still and black and white
    like tasty melodies
    not nothing, but almost trite
    a simple sharp refrain
brusing to hear but so inspired
    that even through young pain
we can tell it from those liars

    who whisper us our prayers
the easy chants that cease desires
and strip us of our layers
    like peeling apple kids

    and blistered by soothsayers
sleazy rants that please the wire
    less hands of our surveyor
    we submit our cores
    and swipe the strings
    that feed our limbs

You used a neat combination of words, but I don't know what the poem is about either. I know poetry sometimes is an "inside" thing that only the writer understands, but thanks for sharing with us anyway.
