Message from EA?

Got this when I opened BF2....when I clicked it, it brought me to the website which is down. Anything important, anyone know?

Its a pain in the arse though. Means I cant join through x fire.

Not so bad now that the recently played servers are there though.

After you login to an online account, a message appears that
contains BF2 news and information which updates periodically.

Obviously a no news today

I have this message that wont go away and is stoping me from joining through X-Fire

I open the message ,went to the site and started my game again and its there again

Any help pll, this thing is seriously pissing me off.
