NTL webspace?

Do NTL provide any webspace for their customers?

You get 55 MB automatically. You don't have to do anything.

Forgive my ignorance but how would he access it say to upload stuff?

he should have gotten a username and password when he was connected to ntl. he needs to log in to upload.ntlworld.com with those

The location on the web should be something like:
http://homepage.ntlworld.ie/firstname.lastname
the ftp server is:
ftp://firstname.lastname@upload.ntlworld.ie/docs/

When the NTL was first installed they should have given your buddy a username and password.
