Ok, if u don't like whats being played and want something else moan/ask/harass/force it on here.

Personally I'd be up for a UT competition TAM style <clicky> 4 rounds and the last man standing in each gets thru to a final. Something like that... just an idea at the moment

TAM is really easy for new users to get to grips to.

Anyone remember a game called Insane?

Tis quite good fun for lan.

Off-road buggy game with FPS influenced game-modes (CTF, chicken etc.) which was originally a physics demo.

OOOOh, and the Dawn of War expansion pack is coming out this month.

I was just at a minilan, and I think I saw an IR/NV video of you driving a go kart around a bonfire at night time in the snow...

up for some good RTS games, some DoW, or AoE II.... i think but isnt AOE III coming out around october, would be good to get it at the lan(if it is out).

anyways machine is out of order at the moment, should be done for the lan

Yeah, twas myself and tadhg (he was on the back). THe false-start was a bit embarressing :) and then I had to go slow with Tim on the back which was the only bit the cameraman recorded. We'd had an earlier incident where I thought he'd jumped off and I was tearing up a hill at 40 or so miles an hour.

Bloody good fun.

No, but there arent many...

New "bug" discovered today though, almost as big as bunnyhopping (alot bigger than sliding anyway), but alot harder to exploit, should see another revival in the irish qw scene if anyone hears about it.

I'd definatly play AoE II if there were others playin.
Doubt AoE3 will be out on time.

Ok, you should understand it after this, but you probably still wont *get* it, which is why I didn't want to explain...

It's been discovered that if you jump into a teleporter facing the direction you'd like to bunny from at the other side, then fire a rocket before 1/5th or so of a second has passed, you'll do a perfect rocket jump off from the tele.

Basically jump into tele fire rocket get speed.

This means nothing to you probably, but for those of us who fly around at 550+ fps, the teleports are what really slow us down, but now it'll be the other way round, people will use tele's for speed!

Not as big as bunnying as not any joesoap can do it, but it'll change the way the game's played alot, especially on fast maps.
