Installation Problems

Due to complications I have had to reinstall Quake 3. It cant pass the console stage and the line "Interface is version 4 , expecting version 3" keeps coming up. Anybody have any help? Seeker

Try redownloading any patches. Maybe you have inconsistant pak files.

Ya thats a problem with the point release.... download and install the latest point release, make sure that you're installing it to the correct directory (the root directory of q3, so that the pak*.pk3 files get added to the baseq3 directory).

Could also be caused by a No-CD crack or non-standard quake3.exe which is not compatible with the version of q3 you are running.
