My laptop and pc are using the same router to go online which is a Netopia Cayman 3300.
My Query is that the two computers are using the IP address. Is this right?
And also if I want to, how do I cahnge my IP address in windows?

    Thanks,
    Hakko

Both computers will have the same external ip. On your internal network, they have to have different ip addresses.

To change the address, go to Network Connections - Local Area Connection - Properties then click on TCP/IP and go into those properties. You can change the IP address there but only the local IP address will change.
