    Surely someone has had the same problem and has come up with a solution.

    Have exactly the same problem. Except want to plug a Xbox in the other end.
    Have been looking at AP's that support repeating but i dont know of they'll function as a brdge at the same time.

    Come on guys. Will i move this to the broadband forum.

    I have been looking at a few netgear products and havent come up with anything conclusive at all at all.

    But id like to hear of other peoples experiences with this problem and what equipment they used to counter act it.

    Senao 3054AP3 is an access point that can act as a repeater at the same time. It has an Atheros chipset, so would only be able to repeat other atheros chipsets. They are simple to set up.

    Most manufactuers use chipsets from different vendors in their products, so be careful. Just make sure you've got compatable chipsets when repeating.
