Wireless Access Point as a Repeater

OK i need to extend my Wireless network in the house. I need a Wireless AP to act as a repeater but also need this AP to have a Ethernet cable link so I can connect up my PC to the network. It has to be done this way(long story!)

The main modem/router I have is a Netgear D384G.

So what do you guys recommended? Something like this?

How do I know will these act as repeaters??

Have exactly the same problem. Except want to plug a Xbox in the other end.
Have been looking at AP's that support repeating but i dont know of they'll function as a brdge at the same time.

Come on guys. Will i move this to the broadband forum.

I have been looking at a few netgear products and havent come up with anything conclusive at all at all.

Senao 3054AP3 is an access point that can act as a repeater at the same time. It has an Atheros chipset, so would only be able to repeat other atheros chipsets. They are simple to set up.

Most manufactuers use chipsets from different vendors in their products, so be careful. Just make sure you've got compatable chipsets when repeating.
