Lads and girls what happened today? What was the hardware fault? I kept getting something about a hardware fault and I couldn't access boards from either boards.ie, pie.boards.ie or through the i.p. address!

Same, along the lines of "the operation timed out" or "could not connect to".

The hardware for the webserver died earlier. I've taken the disks out and put them into another machine, but the other machine is lower-spec'd, and can't take the pain of the bloatier features.

The other server also thought it was January too, so a lot of the 'last visit' times are screwy.

It's worth pointing out that this wasn't some doddery old machine, this was a recently bought (~6 months) HP DL380 G4.
