eircom bad pings to UK yet again.

Same problem as before. Irish server ping bout 30-50 as per usual but UK etc 250-300. WTF is going on with this issue and eircom? edit: seems back to normal now.

Seems to be happening to EVERY Eircom broadband connection in Waterford at the moment. Pings are about 50 then they jerk up to 800 and crash the game (CounterStrike), not fun when you're playing a match!
