Can someone please recommend a freeware email client that will allow me to see my different pop accounts under seperate inboxes, and also has the option of leaving the email on the server - so I can also check existing mail, sent boxes etc from another pc in work ?

    For windows xp.

Bonus points for any good Firefox plugin that can do all this.

    Much appreciated

I think Thunderbird can do all that if you know enough to set it up properly.

When you install it, go to Tools -> Account Settings and hit the Add Account button as many times as you need. You'll be able to recieve off as many POP accounts as you like, but all your outgoing mail will go through the same server.

(...) but all your outgoing mail will go through the same server.
Actually, you can specify multiple outgoing servers in recent versions of Thunderbird... don't remember the options, but they're there.

yeah it's under Tools > Account Settings > Outgoing Server (SMTP) > Advanced

then to configure which account uses which outgoing server, go to the account in question and Server Settings > Advanced > SMTP
