Changing nicks

Is there any way to change my name in BF2 short of creating a new account? This is annoying the ****e out of me.

In the next seemingly there be an option afaik you still cant.

just change your name before your stats get any higher and you feel stuck with it. Thats what i got my friends to do so we could all be one of the same clan.

it tells you the command for it. but i couldnt get this working for me.

localProfile.setName [name] - Shows/Sets the name for your current account
