    im from a cork susburb
    im currently with eircom bb
    i just want to change to the cheapest alternative without reducing my present line speed
    any ideas?

    BT Ireland including line rental is the cheapest DSL.

    Even excludeing the line rental combo its still damn cheaper than eircom!!!

    in depends on your exchange, if you are on churchfield or quaker road, it would be smart telecom, if its denehys cross ( bishopstown & wilton & model farm road ) or wellington road ( ballyvolane / summerhill / mayfield / montenotte ) then smart within a month or so.

    With smart, presently, you are required to get a new phone number.
