if you just get in contact with your local motoring club before any rally they are usually lookin for people to marshall the events. you'll get all the training you'll need if you haven't done it before. you should also get the usual gear (bibs flags signs etc) but be warned bring a whole load of food. you may get stuck at a really lonely corner for a very long day!
