if I upgrade this will the stuff I already have backed up still work or will I loose it all ????

everything should be fine. the stuff that gets backed up doesnt require dvd2xbox to even be on the xbox once the backup is done. updating it may require an edit of the dvd2xbox xml file to set up the dump directory locations again(ie where you want the stuff to be backed up to)
