Read a couple of years back a bout a irish guy who wrote a couple of scripts for DS9 anyknow who he is or what scripts he wrote.

I don't know, but I remember reading an article about him in the newspaper and he also wrote scripts for Voyager. Apparently they used to review scripts submitted by fans before and produce some of the best ones. They thought his ones were so good that they hired him as a paid writer.
