04-10-2001 09:54AM#1Anyone know actual direct links to some Quake 1 mods? - Dont just say...oh there on quake.ie, or planetquake.com or something.
I'm currently looking for server and client files for CTF either threewave or thunderwalk, well basically any CTF variant, TF - either Custom TF or MEGA TF but hopefully both
Any other Quake 1 Mod thats in any way multiplayer friendly, I'd love a link to it. Thanks I appreciate it 0

did ye actually do any research for this, just went and threw a few links together. You dont think I actually checked some of these?
Mainly what I got from your links (Thrax) was
ftp://ftp.stomped.com/pub/quake/conversions/zer.zip -The page cannot be displayed
http://www.planetquake.com/quake2000/ - Quake 2000 is dead...
http://www.teamevolve.com/products/painkeep/ - The page cannot be displayed
in fact the only links to work, were to mods I already had
The trouble is, my HDD has died with my complete collection of Quake 1 mods (which consisted of Mech Quake to Airquake to Star Trek Quake), unfortunately I am now trying to ressurect a few Quake 1 mods for the Computer Society here at carlow IT, without much luck
