i think if you put salt on it it straightaway it helps get rid of the stain but im not sure if thats just for wine...!

But theres some left in the can...it would empty out into the bin. And if the bin bag had a hole in it, it would continue to spill on the floor. Now can you see my dilemma?

edit/ i think its just for wine as its used to get rid of the stain.

no, if you put table salt on it straight away, it draws most of the wine out of the carpet.

experience of someone with a light coloured carpet and penchant for drinking red wine (actually, blame my wife)
