Thunderbird & IMAP folders

This one's annoying. I normally use Evolution on Gentoo, but I'm stuck using the missus' Windoze box for a while, so I'm using Thunderbird on it. Great piece of software, with a niggle:

My home server picks up all my pop accounts using fetchmail, and runs it through procmail to sort it into folders based on various criteria. Evolution and Thunderbird read the mail on the home server using IMAP. When I'm using Evolution, it will notify me of new mail in any folder. Thunderbird will only tell me about new mail in the Inbox.

Does anyone know of a way to get it to keep an eye on the folders?

    Ta!

I don't do this myself, but AFAICS, you need to do the following:

Right-click on each folder that you want checked.
    Select Properties... .
Click on "Check this folder for new messages".

    HTH.

I've done that, looks promising. I'll keep an eye on it.

    Thanks!
