According to Here it closed on 24th October '04.

But, iirc, there is still one open in Tipp or somewhere because they were the franchised stores and not run by the bosses that closed.

None of staff, none (incl the till staff) would let you buy one of those.
You could have walked in there with €200 in your hand and we wouldn't take it from you (seriously). Believe it or not we did advise our customers as best as we could (given pricing, stock and the occasional lemon staff).

Lads, if you've ever worked in a big retail store, you'd know how difficult it is to keep prices right ALL the time, something ALWAYS escapes the gun!

In fairness, I worked in one for nearly 5 years throughout school and college..

IF everyone is doing their job and the management of the company are actually capable of doing their job, there is a not a hope that what happened in Compustore would happen..

Compustore is the perfect example of people who did not know how to run a company of this sort. Not saying I can, but they really were brutal..

I think IQon bought the brand name no?

Thanks to you and your colleagues in your branch, fewer people got ripped off and you helped the company go bankrupt too :D
