BF Vietnam Registery Path Needed

Hi,
A few weeks back, my existing windows harddrive broke, and I've since installed a new one. But, when I did, it lost the install path for where Battlefield Vietnam is, in the registery.

Now, I was able to re-enter the serial number in (and the game works, so I don't have to reinstall BFV), but when I tried to install POE's latest patch, it showed "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam" as the path, with no option to change it

So... I'm asking if any of you know where in the registery I can input the install path, so POE will patch to the correct directory.

I think the POE patch is defaulted to install there, afaik nowt to do with your registry.

You could try copying over the patched files manually from someone who has it installed (new files will be timestamped)

In case not here is the path in registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam(TM)

And

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam

Thanks. I'll just wait and see if a better installer comes out, or install it, and copy the files across.

Also, 1 works, but 2 and 3 dsoesn't. Thanks anyhoo's.

Thanks alot! Worked nicely. Created the key/folder "EA Games", and put the "Battlefield Vietnam" key/folder in, then the string value "GAMEDIR" with the proper install path, and the POE patch then saw the correct install path.
